The Institute has three state of art Computer laboratories that house a huge number of Pentium IV nodes equipped with latest technologies connected through a campus wide network. In addition to full fledged server room with five latest servers, campus has three computer laboratories to provide flexibility of working hours for students as well as to maintain the ratio of one user to one computer. Institute has a 6MBPS Internet leased line connection. We are having all the licensed software which is required as per syllabus.
The Institute has sound infrastructure with well illuminated and well ventilated classrooms and laboratory to cater the needs of the Bachelor's Programme. The Zoology Lab is well equipped with all the basic equipment, instruments, apparatus, slides and specimens required to run the Bachelors' programme. To mention a few are Dissecting Microscopes, Compound Microscopes, Binocular Light Microscopes, Camera Lucida, pH Meter, Centrifuge, Spectrophotometer, Digital Weighing Balance etc
The institute has a well-equipped spacious and ventilated physics laboratory .The lab is fully equipped with state-of-the-art research facilities in the areas of Adaptive Optics, Optical Imaging, Polarization Optics, Statistical Optics, Singular Optics, Computational Physics, Molecular physics, General physic, Interferometry and Ultrafast Optics. The lab provides excellent research opportunities to students.
The Institute provides well spacious and well ventilated Botany lab with specimens, microscopes, permanent slides, latest method of physiological experiment, Genetics, section cutting of plants, demonstration dissection etc . Botany lab is well equipped to perform various botany practical which are necessary for the study of the structure, properties, and biochemical processes of all forms of plant life, as well as plant classification, plant diseases, and the interactions of plants with their physical environment.
The laboratory is equipped with most advanced instruments such as spectrophotometer, Polarimeter, Chromatographic column, electric balance, and chemical balance, Water deionizer, Conductometer, colorimeter, magnet stirrer and various others. For safety there are all arrangements like fire extinguisher, first aid kit etc.
The lab is well equipped with apparatus like -Rain Gauge, Thermometer, Barometer, Magnetic North and instruments like Globe, standard time indicator, etc and different 3D models facilitate the study of this subject and enhance the comprehension of students. The Lab has a rich collection of CDs and geographical specimen of minerals, metallic ores, rocks and rock forming minerals.
